Bonnie Prince Billy – Nomadic Revery (All Around)
8 January, 2009El dia que decida hacer mis listas del año (en breve me pongo con ello, lo prometo) seguramente Bonnie Prince Billy esté en lo más alto, creo que este ha sido nuestro año.
La canción que da título a este post esta arrasando ultimamente en mis iTunes, si no que se lo pregunten al last.fm:

Aprovechando que no he podido blipearla con dignidad (solo tiene versiones en directo), le dedico un post, pues se lo merece de todas todas.
Nomadic Revery es un tema perteneciante al disco I See a Darkness, publicado en el año 1999. La canción, desde su inicio calmado alcanza unos tonos épicos (como nos gusta la epoca en robot plays guitar) en la parte final, con unos coros de esos que te ponen los pelos de punta, cómo digo: pura épica.
Este disco tuvo un 10/10 en Pitchforkmedia, a mi me parece un poco exagerado darle un 10, pero es un gran disco. Uno de esos que pasan a formar parte de la banda sonora de tu vida en cuanto te descuidas. Otros grandes temas del disco son Death for Everyone o el que da nombre al disco, tema muy conocido por la magnífica versión que hizo Johnny Cash en su tercer American Recaordings.
